Mossad killed Mugniyah

Mossad agents assassinated top Hizb'allah commander Imad Mugniyah in Damascus by replacing the headrest of the driver's seat in his car with another containing a small high explosive charge, the Sunday Times quoted an Israeli intelligence sources as saying.

After successfully completing their mission, the agents headed immediately to the airport and left the country en route to Tel Aviv. The British newspaper added that at the time of his death last Tuesday night, Mugniyah, 45, was working with Syria on planning terrorist attacks against Israeli targets to "avenge the Israeli strike on what was believed to be a secret nuclear site in Syria last year.".
